After completing a project within the commemorations of "50 years of Berlin Wall" on the river Spree, we started to ask ourselves the questions what kind of representative tasks does the current border regime on the European outer border demand?
What kind of legitimation does the remembering of the past have in context of the presence of a newer border regime, that is reinforcing the demarcations between continents during colonial times?
